Helping your pet through the heat

Summer can be a wonderful time, but for our pets, it can also be a time of discomfort and danger. Just like people, animals can suffer from the heat, and without the proper precautions, they can overheat. Overheating occurs when a pet can no longer regulate its body temperature and it rises to dangerous levels. This can happen quickly, especially in high temperatures and high humidity.
