Change data for free
New owner from €7,50 for a lifetime registration.
You are the new owner and want to register your pet. If you don't have an account with PetBase yet, you can create one via my.petbase.eu create an account. Log in to the my.petbase.eu Portal and click the "Add Pet" button (left menu). Starting at €7,50, you, as an owner, have a lifetime pet registration with PetBase, complying with all legal requirements. No hidden fees or annual subscriptions, and everything is securely registered. After payment, your pet is registered in your name immediately.

Moving pet
When you move, your pet naturally moves with you. It takes a while for your pet to get used to its new home and find its way back when it's outside. It's therefore not uncommon for a missing pet affected by a move. Make sure you've reported your move to PetBase. With our "Plus Package," you can arrange this in advance and provide your moving date and address.
Of course, this doesn't just apply to the period after your move. Your information must always be up-to-date so emergency services can reunite you with your pet. Changes can be made free of charge at PetBase.
Report a death
Losing a pet is a traumatic and sad event. We wish you strength during this difficult time. To avoid unintended reminders, such as emails about data verification, we kindly ask that you deregister your pet from PetBase.

Log in and easily report the death through your account. This notification is legally required for dogs in the Netherlands and is automatically forwarded to the Netherlands Enterprise Agency's I&R system.

Log in to your personal page and change your pet's status there.

Frequently Asked Questions
You can change your details via our website, use the option search for the chip number Then log in via the "Log in and edit" button. This will take you to your personal PetBase account, where you can edit all your information for free.
Our condolences on the loss of your faithful pet. You can report the death of an animal by entering its chip number. request and log in to your personal PetBase account. There you can deregister your pet as deceased in the database.
Once you have entered the chip number, click on change data, log in with the chip number and registration/form number and indicate your preference. It is best to create a PetBase account at my.petbase.eu/nl/register and then add your pet free of charge with the chip number and registration/form number and you can manage all the data yourself.
Your personal information will only be displayed when searching by the 15-digit chip number and when you've chosen to show details. If you choose to contact us only via the database, the information for the reporting agency will be displayed when you request it. Please note that this agency, and our database, are only open on certain days and times. So, if you've chosen to contact us only via the database and the animal is found in the evening or at night, you won't be reachable directly! We also always ask that you at least show your phone number.
